The past few days have been some of the worst in the history of Los Angeles, California. What started as a routine, yet nerve-wracking wildfire, has turned into an inferno, covering much of Los Angeles County in flames.

Every few months, the American public gets itself worked up about some health crisis or another. Lately, that conversation's turned to raw milk, a controversial alternative to the jugs you'll pick up at the supermarket.

As of January 6th, 2025, America has seen its first death related to the recent outbreak of Bird Flu. The man was 65 years old, and resided in Louisiana. Experts believe he contracted the disease when he came in contact with a flock of backyard and wild birds.

It's a short hike, but worth it for the amazing, unexpected treasure in the canyon.

If we don't know where they're coming from, is it a good idea?

You don't have to travel far to find wintery weather.

Since 2012, state parks across America have taken part in the "First Day Hikes" initiative in order to get people out to their local parks, and hopefully keep them coming back.

To an outsider, Arizona is nothing more than an unbearably hot state that resides in the middle of the desert. I am, of course, speaking from experience, but living here for the past year has shown me that couldn't be further from the truth.

You might want to consider leaving this mass alone. It's an important part of the Arizona desert ecosystem.

There's nothing that makes me sadder than an endangered animal. Unknowing of why they feel so lonely, just knowing that there's no one left for them. We try to do our best to keep every species alive and thriving, but sometimes our best isn't enough.
