Sierra Vista Nightmare

Sierra Vista Nightmare has become a local Halloween tradition in Cochise County. Hosted by the FOP Lodge #28, the haunted attraction raises money for community programs while delivering plenty of scares. While it may not have the massive budget of some of Arizona's larger attractions, the volunteer actors and creative sets make it a fun stop for anyone looking for a good fright close to home.

Admission for this haunted house is only $10 at the door. Keep an eye on the Sierra Vista Nightmare Facebook page for haunted house dates and more information on the event!

The Ft. Huachuca Haunted Hayride

The Fort Huachuca Haunted Hayride is one of the most affordable Halloween events in Southern Arizona. Held at Wren Arena on Fort Huachuca, the attraction takes visitors on a spooky ride through haunted scenes created by local volunteers across the area.

Tickets cost just $3 for guests ages five and older, making it an excellent option for families on a budget. This year's event is scheduled for October 24 and 25, and visitors can also enjoy food vendors, the Monster Market, and additional Halloween-themed activities throughout the evening.

The event operates on select nights throughout October, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to experience the scares. Terror in the Corn

Terror in the Corn is considered one of the scariest haunted events in the Tucson Area. Located at 13591 W. Avra Valley Road in Marana, the attraction features multiple haunted experiences connected by a massive cornfield.

General admission tickets start at $35, while Fast Pass options are available for guests who want to spend less time waiting in line. The event is open on weekend nights and select weekdays throughout October, with most nights running from 6 p.m. until midnight.

Slaughterhouse

Every year I hear people talking about The Slaughterhouse. The Slaughterhouse reopens on October 2 and runs that weekend plus every Thursday through Sunday until November 1. Ticket prices vary depending on the date and package selected.

Built inside a former meatpacking facility, the haunted house features multiple themed attractions, talented scare actors, and impressive special effects that have made it a Halloween favorite for decades.

Organizers have indicated that this could be The Slaughterhouse's final season, giving fans one last chance to experience one of Southern Arizona's most famous haunted attractions.
