With a La Niña weather pattern in full swing, the entire state will likely see a colder-than-usual winter with more precipitation.
According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, places in Arizona that typically see snow will see a lot more snowfall than usual. Everywhere else in the state should brace for more rain than normal.
According to NOAA (the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), La Niña is a “cold event”, a climate pattern caused by cooler-than-average sea surface temperatures in the central and eastern Pacific Ocean.
