$750 Will Be Sent to Certain Arizona Residents. Are You Getting a Check?
- This is a one-time rebate for Arizona families who claimed at least $1 in income and dependents in 2019, 2020 or 2021
- You must have been a full-time Arizona resident
- For dependents under 17, the rebate is $250 per dependent
- For dependents 17 years and older, the rebate is $100 per dependent
Eligible Arizona Families Could Get This Rebate
With the price of everything from groceries to gasoline to housing costs climbing, it's nice to know some Arizona families will see relief this fall.
Approximately 743,000 Arizona residents will be eligible to receive a stimulus check from the state. Some families may see as much as $750. This is the fourth stimulus check released through the Arizona Families Tax Rebates.
The bill was signed into law by Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs and will be part of Arizona's 2024 budget.
The Arizona Families Tax Rebate Explained
The Arizona Families Tax Rebate was created to provide relief to families who claimed at least one dependent tax credit on their 2021 Arizona State income tax return. Eligible families must have claimed at least one dollar in income tax liability in 2019, 2020, or 2021. This is a one-time tax rebate.
How Much Money Will Arizona Taxpayers Receive?
How much money can Arizona taxpayers expect to receive as part of this rebate?
The amount of the rebate varies. The rebate amount is $250 for each dependent under 17 years old. For each claimed dependent 17 years or older, taxpayers will receive $100, up to a maximum of $750 per family. The rebate checks should be in the mail beginning November 2023.
