Support Veterans and Enjoy Breakfast with the Cochise County Sheriff Assist Team
What Does the Cochise County Sheriff's Assist Team Do?
You've seen the Sheriff's Assist Team helping out around our community. This group of dedicated volunteers would like to invite you to their annual pancake breakfast fundraiser. You can help them continue to provide service in Cochise County.
The Cochise County Sheriff’s Assist Team (SAT) is a volunteer organization within the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office. This group of volunteers handles a variety of duties for the Sheriff’s Office to keep deputies on the road.
For example, you'll spot the team as they direct traffic at the scene of an accident, guard a crime scene, wait for a tow truck when a vehicle is towed after a traffic stop, and do a wide variety of other jobs that allow the sheriff's deputies to get back on patrol and keep our streets safe after an incident.
The Cochise County Sheriff's Assist Team and Neighborhood Watch
The Sheriff’s Assist team is also responsible for the Neighborhood Watch programs in Cochise County.
The team sets up new Neighborhood Watch volunteer programs around the county. They also meet with established programs to assess and advise on the current concerns of that neighborhood. The Sheriff’s Assist Team also patrols neighborhoods often.
You can also find the team helping in our local schools, conducting patrols, to giving Christmas gifts for the kids.
You may also spot the Sheriff’s Assist Team as they conduct funeral processions for our veterans as they travel to their final resting place.
