I Didn’t Know Arizona Had the Perfect Place to Celebrate Christmas
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year ... or at least that's how the song goes.
There's no better place to spend Christmas than in Arizona if you ask me. I'm over cold winters, snow on the ground and. being stuck inside all day. Give me some decent weather and a bit of sunshine.

There's one town in Arizona that does Christmas just a bit better than everyone else.
What is Arizona's Christmas City?
That, my little elf friend, is Prescott, Ariz. where they have the most festive lights in the state.
It was in 1989 when Arizona's Governor Moffard named Prescott "Arizona's Christmas City" because of its amazing lights and celebrations.
They don't just celebrate Christmas, they make it happen with multiple events throughout the Christmas holiday.
What is There to Do in Prescott During Christmas?
We're so glad you asked.
After Thanksgiving, you know, when most people are starting to decorate, Prescott kicks off the season with a holiday light parade and bonfire. This year marks the 27th year they've been doing that parade.
If one parade wasn't enough, there's the annual Christmas parade that's been happening for 42 years. They also light up the courthouse with a fireworks show after the lighting.
They wrap up the holiday season on New Year's Eve on Whiskey Row with their famous boot drop.
I don't know about you, but I'm thinking I'll need to make a trip just to check out the lights and festivities.
