Two guitar legends who met as teacher and student in 1973 are finally releasing their first album together after five decades of friendship.

The Doors are releasing rare live recordings from 1970, capturing the raw energy of their most explosive tour stops across America.

Highlights include 11 original demos for the album, concert appearances, tracking sessions, early mixes and guide vocals.

Long-time guitarist and songwriter Bobby Ingram says recording their 12-song LP at Abbey Road was a dream come true.
