When Will The Arizona Buc-ee’s Open??
If you've ever made a trip through the deep south, you've likely run across the most unhinged billboards on earth, each one adorned with the face of America's favorite beaver.
Arizona has long been without the watchful gaze of Buc-ee the beaver, and it seems like we'll have to wait even longer to bask in his glory.
What is Buc-ee's?
It's hard to describe to someone who hasn't been there. Technically, Buc-ee's is a gas station/convenience store combo, but that's underselling exactly what the chain is about. The main drawing point for these is their size, these stores are massive, and have anything you could ever want or need.
From tons (literally) of beef jerky, to merch, and a functioning deli, Buc-ee's has drawn in weary travelers like a siren on the sea. There are hundreds of pumps to fill your car up, and bathrooms unlike anything you've ever seen (you've gotta see it to believe it). Arizona's been begging for a Buc-ee's in state, and it seems the time's finally come.

When Will Arizona's Buc-ee's Open?
Last year, it was announced that, finally, Arizona was getting a Buc-ee's. Plans went in place immediately, and work started to begin in Goodyear, just outside of Phoenix. It was announced that the store would open by Christmas of 2025, but that date has already been rolled back.
Now, Arizona's one and only Buc-ee's is planned to open in June 2026, six months later than the expected date. Fear not though, the wait will be worth it. The facility is planned to have 120 fueling stations, a 74,000-square-foot convenience store, and will remain open 24 hours. If you've never been lucky enough to experience the most magical place on earth, you're going to want to make your way to the southeast corner of Bullard Avenue and Interstate 10 next summer.
