What Was Miranda Lambert Doing In Arizona?
Miranda Lambert is a country music Icon. Since breaking onto the scene with Kerosene in 2005, she's pushed the boundaries for women in the music scene and blazed a trail as one of the most innovative singer/songwriters in America.
Turns out she's got a bit of a soft spot for the Grand Canyon State...
Social Media Warriors
Recently, Lambert made a post to her Instagram, promoting her clothing brand, Idyllwind. The post is simple, nothing more than a picture of Lambert rocking a full denim outfit complete with Idyllwind's new Texas Hold 'Em jeans.
Hardcore fans of Lambert noticed something new in the photo: a tattoo that Lambert previously didn't have. The ink is just above her right wrist, just next to the iconic "Tumbleweed" tattoo, and depicts a horseshoe garnered with a decorative heart. As cool as her new art is, it's where she got it that's the story.

Lambert Loves Arizona
Some super sleuths found the artist almost immediately. Turns out, her artist had shared a photo of her work back in March. A simple photo of just her arm captioned "Tiny lil horseshoe for @mirandalambert to represent her cutie horses". The artist is a woman named Christina, who is based nowhere else but Scottsdale, Arizona.
It seems Lambert has an affinity for this state, as around the same time, she had been recording her music video for "Run" in Gold Canyon. That same video, she shows off a hat from Rancher Hat Bar, which is also located in Scottsdale. Whether all of this was just convenience or if Lambert really loved Arizona, we may not know, but I'd expect to see a lot more from the Grand Canyon State in her upcoming work.
