Special Guest: Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders
There's been a lot of buzz surrounding two featured guests this year. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is coming to the Festival to chat about his recently released book, It’s OK to be Angry About Capitalism.
Sanders is scheduled to give a presentation on his book on Sunday, March 5th at 4pm. You'll find him in the University of Arizona’s Student Union Ballroom, with sales and signing right afterward.
Special Guest: Linda Ronstadt
Also on the schedule this year is Tucson's very own Linda Ronstadt. She'll be speaking with her co-author Lawrence Downes on her recent memoir: Feels Like Home: A Song for the Sonoran Borderlands. Ronstadt's book speaks of her slower, simpler life in Tucson before her Grammy winning career took off.
See Linda Ronstadt in the University of Arizona's Student Union North Ballroom on Sunday March 5, 1 - 2pm. She'll be selling and signing books in the Rincon Room following the presentation.
