Arizona National Parks

Imagine standing at the edge of the Grand Canyon, where every sunset paints the rocks in a kaleidoscope of colors. It's breathtaking—and a little risky too.

One lesser known geological feat in the Grand Canyon State is Chiricahua National Monument, nestled in the southeast of the state.

For almost the entirety of human history, we've been trying to find the beginning. It's not easy. Early humans notoriously didn't keep records of their lives, and if they did, they were lost to time.

In terms of states with the most natural beauty, I'd throw Arizona at the top of the list. Every inch of this state is covered in some of the most awe-inspiring views known to man.

Time for vacation! These are the closest national parks to Tuscon.

Teddy Roosevelt knew what he was doing when he created the National Park System. Now legislation has been introduced to add one more in Arizona.
