When the Artificial Intelligence finally takes over, we hope that it'll be merciful. We haven't exactly been the nicest to our computers, and when they begin a reign of 1000 years, we can only pray they look at us favorably.
As long as I've been alive, the United States of America has had 50 states in the union. It's a nice, round number and has been the standard since Hawaii was admitted in 1959. That's likely not changing any time soon, but most people don't know how drastically different America, and by relation, Arizona could have looked.
